There is nothing like having a brother. I am lucky enough to have two… and I adore them both. As I wrapped up my sweet session with these two brothers I was thinking about the weekend, Romeo and I had plans to head over to Plano to hang out with Will & Dominique (my brother & his lovely bride) and her brother. It was a weekend of brotherly love! I was overflowing with appreciation and wondering what it would be like if there were photographs of my brother and I when I was a baby. They would truly be priceless to me.
I love to photograph my client’s as their family grows. Cameron, the big brother here was just a baby when I photographed him first… and now, he’s all grown up. We take exploration walks during our photography breaks when he used to need to be cuddled and fed. They grow so fast. It was sweet to see him love on his little brother and exercise such great patience as he waited for Carson to be photographed. Sarah (their mama, my friend, and client) drove from HOUSTON for this session! talk about a family dedicated to having their story told! we have already planned a spring shoot in time for Carson to be a giggly, expressive little man! I can’t wait to see how he changes. What a sweet little brother he already is.

sarah - I love that we do this every year, so driving from Houston was totally worth it to continue the tradition and the adding to my wall of awesome works of art (plus it’s always good to see and spend time with you).
